Dear Frontliners,
Hello :)
As I mentioned in my first post, the ministry is new and needs support to make it happen. If you feel the need exists, please let me know! If those whom the ministry is there to benefit do not see a need, I may reconsider where I spend my ministry time and energy :) .
To produce the first edition, there are some needs that I have that you, as the ministry leaders, will need to help fill.
This is what I need;
1) share this with other ministry leaders/pastors
2) we'd like to hear/lift up your prayer requests, burdens, and praises. Email us your prayer requests.
You may remain anonymous in our published edition. Please indicate how much information you would like us to share. Example;
Prayer request info goes here.
--Anonymous. Texas, USA
...or include your name and location. Whatever you feel comfortable with.
3) Our Inbox/Outbox section needs something to work from--we need "inbox" letters from the frontliners. What are your concerns? What do you wish people knew ? Do you have questions you want to ask "the people in the pews"? etc. You can be anonymous, just indicate your desire in your submission to our email.
4) Our "Ideas Corner" section (names may change) needs some "problems" to *try* to solve. Is part of your ministry stuck in a rut? Do you feel like you're running into a brick wall in regards to a certain issue? Send us suggestions and topics that you would like creative ideas and/or solutions to. We will brainstorm within our editors team, praying, seeking out experts, and doing some research to see what suggestions we can come up with.
5) We need topic suggestions for our "Human too" section. What are some of the struggles ministry leaders may face that you'd like to read about how to dealing with? We'll do our best to bring you spiritual, researched, and prayerfully considered responses. So send them in :)
6) our Pastor to Pastor section needs letters from pastors to pastors--so send in your letters you'd like Pastors to respond to--also, let us know if you are a willing pastor who would like to volunteer to respond to letters from time to time.
7) recommend ministries for our ministry profile
8) recommend ministry leaders to profile
9) if you've written an original devotional you would like to share with fellow ministry leaders, submit it for consideration :)
10) etc. your ideas are appreciated!
